About Dr. Ivanova

I was born in Mumbai, India, grew up in Ottawa, Canada, and settled in the San Francisco Bay Area. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and a Minor in Music from the University of California, Davis. I attended the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University where I graduated with honors (top 20%). I completed my residency with extensive foot and ankle surgical training at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara, winning both the Resident of the Year award and the Dr. Judith Manzi Resident Leadership Award. My practice includes all aspects of foot and ankle surgery including: forefoot/rearfoot reconstruction, trauma and fracture care, sports medicine, limb salvage, and diabetic foot care.

It is important to me to spend time with my patients to help them learn about their conditions and understand all treatment options. I believe in creating customized treatment plans based on patient preferences, lifestyle, and goals.

I have been extensively involved in research and other scholarly works, and stay up to date with advances in podiatric medicine. I also teach and mentor podiatric medical students.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, playing pickleball, playing classical piano, sewing, and cooking.

Languages spoken: English, Hindi, Marathi, and learning Russian
